About Amoroso
Amoroso is founded by Gitta Deckers and is driven by a passion for aesthetics, creativity, and collaboration. A desire for powerful aesthetics marks the studio’s creative practice.
Gitta originally studied interior design at LUCA School of Arts in Ghent. But her love for fashion soon guided her toward the Fashion Academy of Sint-Niklaas where she explored style, fabrics, color, textures, and so much more.
She started working at Café Costume, Belgium’s leading made-to-measure men’s tailoring brand. For over 11 years she was at the helm of the house’s creative style and unique visual direction. Gitta was involved in the entire creative process from start to finish. From concepts and campaigns, over fabric selection, collections, and artistic direction, to the coordination of the final results, both in terms of artwork and retail experience.
Now Amoroso marks a new chapter for Gitta to embark upon a journey of discovery—one she loves to explore with customers, as well. Her experience, her passion, and her keen eye for aesthetics help brands thrive.
